The Process

The development process usually proceeds as follows:

1. We meet to discuss requirements of the site and to review any current marketing material. This initial consultation is free of charge.
2. Once the go-ahead has been received we create a Look & Feel of the home page. This will look like a real web page but will only be a photo of the proposed site. It will show you the general "Look" of the entire site along with all the menu items.
3. You'll review the Look & Feel and give us feedback on changes you'd like, if any. At this point we'll have a good feel for the requirements of your site and can assist with the selection of your domain name, if necessary, and help with the setup of hosting and email addresses.
4. Once the Look & Feel is approved we'll convert it into a working website that contains all the necessary pages.
5. Most people want the ability to edit their own site. We build the site using a Content Management System that is easy to use for even those with basic computer skills. The core of this software package is free and contains all the functionality needed for most basic sites. Add-on modules are available for more complex website features and range in price from $10 to $100.
6. The next portion of the development is where clients can save some money if they are able to help organize information. If the majority of the content for the website pages is organized and emailed to us in a format that allows us to copy and paste it in, it'll save considerable development time.
7. The final step is to Search Engine Optimize (SEO) the site, launch it, and submit it to the major search engines.

And that's it! In approximately 2-3 weeks you'll have a site that looks great, is search engine friendly, easy to navigate, and didn't cost you a fortune.
